Team Rubicon #OpSeabird in Tacloban, Philippinen
>>At approximately 11:50 a.m. local time Tuesday, 15 TR volunteers touched down in Manila, and soon, they’ll be transported by the Philippine Air Force in a C-130 to Tacloban City.
The initial focus of Operation: Seabird remains to be search and rescue, patient extraction, and medical triage supporting a field hospital stood up by Mammoth Medical Missions, whose staff have already conducted 55 surgeries. According to Philippine officials in Manila, TR is the only confirmed official search and rescue organization in the area. A secondary team of 3-4 volunteers will deploy for the Philippines on Tuesday evening to establish a supply chain for the team in the field.<< Ganzer Blogeintrag hier.
